We have had very very little snow this year and good snowflake snow for preservation hasn’t been around at all.

This morning was amazing with the beautiful flakes that were slowly drifting down. Since I had yet to collect even one snowflake this year I spent a few hours this morning collecting the gorgeous flakes from my back porch and starting the preservation process.

I’ll know if any of these beauties are destined for rings or necklaces in 3-4 weeks. Not all turn out; very few do actually but I love admiring their beauty as I collect them.
